the food was healthy - a great selection of options. there were tea and coffee making equipment, a dining area, and a writing desk in the room, appreciated that. the location was brilliant and marvellous, so close to local restaurants down in town and popular local attractions like the driving creek railway and the town centre.

The reasons I'm conflicted
The cozy atmosphere. Immaculate cleanliness and fine views. The homemade breakfast was the perfect way to start my day.
Navigating the steep and narrow driveway was a bit daunting for me. It seemed like an adventure, but could be intimidating for inexperienced drivers.

Being just 500 meters from the Coromandel Gold Stamper Battery made exploring the area easy and rewarding as I walked to admire the historical site and the surrounding natural beauty.

Recommend for a couple of nights
Fine views, cozy atmosphere, the beautiful terrace provided a perfect spot for a relaxing evening while enjoying the sunset, and the shared kitchen made it easy to prepare meals just as we liked them.
Everything was really good.

Fine views from the private balcony, but the steep driveway was a bit tricky.

Try to arrive before dark to navigate the steep gravel driveway safely, and support with your luggage is invaluable due to multiple steps at the hotel.

Rooms bright and airy with fine views overlooking McGregor Bay. The cozy dining and sitting areas provided a perfect retreat after exploring the surrounding area.
Getting to the lodge requires navigating a steep, unsurfaced road that may be tough on luggage. Multiple steps both outside and inside make transporting bags a bit of a hike. The privacy on the balcony could use some work. A simple trellis would enhance the experience.

Wonderful hotel with reasonably large rooms and a private bathroom. Incredibly nice people working here. Stunning location in a lovely treetop setting with views of the coast. Lots of food options approximately 10-15 minutes' walk from the venue.
